FROST

 
Every winter I spend a few days in the Upper Engadine and am always fascinated by the variety and beauty of the landscape. One day, I noticed that every morning until 8 o'clock the landscape in Samedan is shrouded in a fog which gives the picture a mystical touch. The iron cold (-28° C) in the winter months transforms the wild mountain stream into an idyllic ice landscape and lets me swarm in my memories.
